Daily Grind

Well I am back from a few day vacation/break to Provo to visit and hang out with family. It was lots of fun and actually rejuvinating. I sometimes get pretty ragged when visiting family because being family you are drawn to the quarrels and struggles that are at home when you visit. This trip wasn't to bad, but kind of was rushed on use because we only had a certain time we could go. Oh well. I think that I hung out with my brother in Vegas before we went to Provo enough to get my home fix before we went, that is why I was grumpy when I finally got to Provo.

Being back home (temporary home to be sure) I was glad to be back at work. I think that I am a borderline workaholic at least in the fact that I hate seeing projects go undone. So I am glad to be back working on my projects and in a routine. I am as bad as my toddler in that I need a routine to stay happy and productive. I realize this over and over again in the daily things that I get to do. When I get out of a routine I feel like my life in falling apart. I wonder why I fight the routine so hard, especially getting back into it. Anyway.

Today when I got home my son gave me a run through of his new work, which is Hi. He will say it about 20 times because it gets such a reaction. He also says it sometimes when he wants our attention. One time he was pulling my pants leg and say Hi, Hi...The best part is right now at least he can only say that with a smile. Wonderful times today as a parent.
