Stumbling Block...

It is interesting where each day will take you.  For me today has been good.

To start out with my wife and I discussed financial investments.  We had spoken about this subject with my uncle Don when we were in Arizona and she had some questions about how certain investments worked.  Like a 401K and some others.  Also we discussed how our goal of retiring by age 55 would be possible with me pursuing a phD.  We will have to see about that.  If we can invest wisely in things that will pay more than the normal 3% interest then we might be able to do it.

Talking about that really got me distracted for the morning.  I didn't leave until 5 minutes to 8 am rather than my goal of 7 am.  I might have reached that goal but I was really just a bit too lazy.

At work I think I was able to fix my machine.  It is an atomic absorber and testy at that.  The current problem is that it has a leaky hose in a very tight place.  I think that I was able to repair that satisfactorily.  We will see tomorrow when I fire it up again.  I hope that it works for me.  Please oh please.

This afternoon I have been working on  my thesis  and that is going well, but a bit slow.  That is how it will probably work out though so that is what I will do.  Slow and steady.

So now I am about headed off to class again and really I can't wait to get home and see my wife and kids.  It really is to bad that this class is 3 hours.
