Wow!

I decided that for my baby sisters birthday I would add a webpage to the internet in her name.  It was a process.  Every time I think that I have things down for something to do with the internet I am once again flamboozled.  Argh..Anyway it wasn't bad but with the time that I had it was hard and didn't come out quite how I had hoped.  Oh well.  See it here at www.jennycwilliams.com.

 

While I was at it, I also started another website that I was interested in.  It is the www.bookreviewers.com.  It is like the name says a website about book reviewing that my sister Jenny and I are interested in.  We are both book readers and want to expand and branch out to add more to ourselves and to other people.  Anyway things are good. 

 

I went to a church meeting tonight and they talked about pornography and the trouble that comes with it.  The most striking quote that I got from it was "pornography is a plague that will cause a drought of the spirit in our live."  It is an evil that is more addicting than anything else that exists in this world.  We really have to fight against it with all our cunning powers and abilities.  To make the feild level so that we can conquer it we really have to add a big arsenal of tools to our side of the fight.  Without that we will be hopelessly out manned. 

 

Before I forget I also went and worked today again as a substitute.  It was pretty fun, it was my second job of the year.  I hope actually to get about 50 jobs in total for the year.  We will see if I can do that.  If I do then we will be on our way to earning $30,000 for the year.  For me that would be a milestone.  We will see.  More money is more play!

 

It is a bit late however so I am going to end this post a bit early but with the note that things are well and I am excited about what I have ahead of me.

Deadlines...

So I am working today on my thesis proposal...this is a pressing thing that I have to deal with.  I need to get my proposal approved so I can start working on writing my final thesis and get ready to defend what I have found.

Well it is interesting that often you have to have the activation energy to get over a hump, to get started on something.  For me I had a terrible time getting this proposal going.  I finally got started and realized that I wasn't that bad off. 

I am now about done and thank goodness I have a wonderful wife who will help me with things so I can get them done.  In this case she got me started and will save me because of her grammar skills. 

That is what is going on today.  I am excited that I will have another milestone out of the way to graduating when I want...

Family Pride...

My son was taken by his mother the other day for a photo session at JC Penny. It was a free 8x10 deal so we decided to do it.

Alison had him all dressed up and ready to go except when they got there he wasn't ready to go. He was in fact quite adamant that he wouldn't sit on the box or smile. He was happy before and after the entire incident. Kids make you wonder.

Alison thinks that it was in fact his determination to respect me as his photographing father that kept him from letting the flattering light and cute girls take his picture. Oh well.

Time...

So it is interesting to look back and realize almost totally based on blog entries when I had time and when I didn't. Like back in July I had tons of time to be posting to my website and things like that, but I really didn't have much time in August or September thus far. Oh well things are going well.

My sister Jennifer and I are working on creating a website that is all about book reviews. I am excited about it and I hope that she is excited to. I am trying to figure the best format situation out and she is working on the review categories...so we will see. I am also trying to get things set up for add words and other things to help fund the site over all. So we will see what happens.

The good thing is that we have definitely got a lot of cool books to read. For me that is actually the exciting part.
